She Codes Too proudly celebrates the graduation of 90 women from across Iraq who have completed a six-month DataCamp program focused on data and AI skills.

Running from July to December 2025, the program represents the second DataCamp cohort delivered by She Codes Too. Participants studied career-focused courses in data analytics, data science, machine learning, and programming, following industry-designed content aligned with current market needs.

Most of the graduates are young women and recent university graduates seeking to bridge the gap between formal education and real-world tech roles. The program was designed to help participants understand the market, build confidence, and develop practical, job-ready skills they can apply locally.

Beyond Technical Skills

Alongside the self-paced DataCamp courses, She Codes Too delivered live career-development workshops to strengthen participants’ employment readiness. These sessions covered:

  • CV and cover letter writing
  • LinkedIn profile optimisation
  • Using AI tools for productivity and job search
  • Career planning and professional development

Regular check-ins and cohort-based learning were central to the program, ensuring participants stayed connected, supported, and motivated throughout the six months.

Voices from the Cohort
“I got my first paid freelance project in data analytics during the program,” said Tiba, one of the graduates. “It showed me that these skills are actually needed in the market.”

Another participant, Baydaa, reflected on the program’s structure:

“What made a real difference was the regular follow-ups and check-in sessions. We weren’t left to study alone. Being part of a cohort kept us motivated and supported.”

Building Skills for the Future

This second cohort reflects She Codes Too’s continued commitment to strengthening women’s skills in data and AI through modern, market-aligned learning. By combining industry-defined courses with ongoing support and career guidance, the program aims to prepare participants to confidently bring these skills into the local tech ecosystem.

She Codes Too looks forward to supporting these graduates as they move into jobs, freelance work, and further learning, and to continuing its mission of creating accessible pathways for women to thrive in tech across Iraq.
