She Codes Too hosted its Capstone Showcase and Job Fair Event, celebrating the achievements of the 2024 Front-End Development and Business program graduates. Graduates presented their capstone projects to a panel of judges, including Sura Muthana, Areeb Al-Quraishi, and Maha Kamal, and attending representatives from various companies, showcasing their hard work and skills to potential employers.

Andy Halus, Counselor for Public Diplomacy at the U.S. Embassy Baghdad, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of empowering women in tech and entrepreneurship. He said about the program “It’s a part of many of our programs for the Iraqi youth, preparing them for the private sector and helping out the Iraqi economic success in the future, and building on the great partnership between the US and Iraq.” The U.S. Embassy’s generous support, along with that of Baghdad Business School, made this event possible, reinforcing their commitment to shaping the future of women in Iraq’s tech industry.
