In January 2024, SCT, The Station and Computiq partnered to host TechLaunch, a 3-day hackathon designed to promote innovative SaaS software products in Iraq. The event aimed to transform ideas into prototypes and viable services, empowering participants to collaborate, create, and showcase their work.

On Day 1, participants met the mentors, exchanged ideas, and formed teams. Day 2 focused on problem-solving and building solutions. The event culminated on Day 3 with final product presentations to a panel of judges, including industry leaders.

The keynote speakers included Ibrahim Al-Zararee, Head of Product & Growth at Miswag, Mohamed Jamal, Executive Director at Kapita, Husam Aamer, Co-founder and Tech Manager at Andalusi, Hasan Haitham, Product Manager at Fedshi, and Ammar Al-Khatib, Co-founder and CEO ar Uplevel. They shared their expertise in product development, marketing, and innovation.

TechLaunch 2024 not only empowered participants to innovate but also provided them with the resources to launch successful SaaS solutions, contributing to Iraq's growing tech ecosystem.
