She Codes Too (SCT) is happy to announce a new collaboration with Miswag, Iraq’s e-commerce platform, through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This partnership marks an important step towards advancing the careers of women in the tech industry by providing pathways to internships and full-time employment.

The primary goal of this MOU is to establish a cooperative framework where Miswag can tap into SCT’s growing talent pool of qualified female programmers. This collaboration ensures that women who have completed SCT’s coding and technical training programmes will have access to career opportunities at Miswag, helping to promote gender diversity within Iraq’s technology sector.

In addition to recruitment, both SCT and Miswag are exploring areas for future collaboration. This could include mentorship programmes where Miswag professionals offer guidance to SCT participants, and potential sponsorship for SCT initiatives to support the growth of female coders in Iraq.
